Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Project Controller in Adelaide, Australia, to provide overall project scheduling support and maintain project schedules used for tracking milestones and progress. The role focuses on cost forecasting and earned value oversight across defence-related projects.

You will develop and maintain schedules, update forecasts, and collaborate with Defence Space Command and other stakeholders to ensure timely, within-budget delivery and accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in project scheduling and Roadmap development.
• Proven experience using EVM, OPP and Microsoft Project.
• Excellent Written and Verbal Communication.
• Eligible for NV1 security clearance.
• Eligible to access US export controlled information

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project schedules.
• Update schedules on a monthly basis including cost forecast.
• Assist and provide input into PPRIP/MRM monthly reporting and any other reports as required.
• Assist team members with scheduling requirements as required.
• Report where requested to Defence Space Command scheduler.
• Assist with updating project documentation (MAA, PES, IPMP).
• Provide Earned Value oversight and reporting.
• Integrate cost, schedule and risk data as required.
• Work collaboratively, operate as an effective team member and provide constructive feedback.
• Engage with relevant stakeholders, including industry and international project control partners, and understand their expectations and concerns.
• Resolve problems using expertise, taking the initiative to identify alternative courses of action.
• Coordinate and contribute to the work of a team consistent to a work plan and provide advice and assistance on methods of task completion to team members.
• Provide guidance to contractors on how best to construct schedules.
• Assist other schedulers with support where requested
