Job summary

Austal Defence Australia (ADA) is seeking a Scheduler to support program planning and scheduling across production, engineering, and procurement. You will report to the SSA Planning & Scheduling Manager and ensure alignment with contractual requirements and standards.

2–3 years in marine/defence industries, Primavera P6 training, and a keen eye for detail are essential. Eligible for Australian Defence Clearance; competitive compensation and growth opportunities offered.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years experience in marine, defence or complex manufacturing industries.
• Minimum certificate 101, 102 Primavera training or equivalent experience.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Results oriented with focus on improvements and risk awareness.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain the Planning and Scheduling Framework aligned with program goals and contractual requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement and adherence to scheduling standards across projects.
• Introduce best practice in planning across the project lifecycle with new materials and product planning capabilities.
• Provide expert scheduling guidance in Earned Value Management (EVM) environments with strong program controls.
• Communicate schedule performance, risks and changes to stakeholders, ensuring transparency across the organisation.
• Monitor and report schedule performance, conduct variance analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Oversee resource management and allocation across multiple projects.
