Job summary

La Trobe University is seeking a Program Manager, Strategy and Planning to lead the design, coordination and delivery of strategic programs across student experience, employability, student administration and integrity.

Working with the Pro Vice-Chancellor (Student Experience and Employability), the role provides high‑level planning, governance, reporting and strategic advice to monitor portfolio impact and support AI-enabled transformation.

Qualifications

• A degree or postgraduate qualifications with extensive relevant experience.
• Proven ability to write high‑quality senior reports and analyze data across diverse domains.
• Growth mindset with adaptability to evolving strategic needs and AI/digital platforms for student experience.
• Strong project and time management with effective communication at senior levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead program development, planning and implementation aligned to PVC objectives.
• Provide strategic support and advisory input for policy integration within a complex university structure.
• Direct major policy projects at a senior management level across divisions.
• Ensure alignment between initiatives and the division’s strategic objectives.
