Job summary

Leidos Australia is seeking a skilled Program Financial Analyst to drive financial performance across IT programs and provide strategic decision support. You will partner with program teams, deliver cost analyses, and support budgeting and forecasting in a collaborative environment.

The role requires strong governance experience, excellent communication, and proficiency with CostPoint and Microsoft Office. This is a Canberra-based position with security clearance eligibility.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to build strong business partnerships across functions and geographies.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to navigate priorities and deadlines.
• Strong experience in financial management, reporting and governance for project delivery.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Partner with program and project teams to provide strategic financial advice aligned to contracts.
• Provide decision support through cost analysis, scenario modelling and risk assessment.
• Lead monthly financial reporting and variance analysis for senior stakeholders.
• Support budgeting and forecasting using historical trends and performance metrics.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and systems.
