Job summary

Leidos Australia is seeking a skilled Program Financial Analyst to drive financial performance across a portfolio of IT projects. You will collaborate with program and project teams and stakeholders across finance, delivery and operations to provide strategic financial advice aligned to contractual commitments.

You will lead monthly financial reporting, conduct cost analysis and scenario modelling, and support budgeting and forecasting to guide planning and resource allocation.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to build strong business partnerships and effectively manage diverse stakeholders across functions and geographies.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to navigate competing priorities and deliver outcomes within deadlines.
• Strong experience in financial management, reporting and governance, with a track record of supporting project delivery teams and program success.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Experience working in a global business environment, ideally with financial systems such as CostPoint, OAC or OBI.

Responsibilities

• Partner with program and project teams, and stakeholders across finance, delivery and operations to provide strategic financial advice aligned to operational goals and contractual commitments.
• Provide decision support through cost analysis, scenario modelling and risk assessment to enable proactive financial management.
• Lead monthly financial reporting and variance analysis, translating data into actionable insights for senior stakeholders.
• Support budgeting and forecasting by leveraging historical trends and performance metrics to guide planning and resource allocation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance financial processes and systems.
