Job summary

Austal, based in Fremantle, is seeking a Planner to translate high level project schedules into practical, sequenced work packages that can be executed safely on the ground. You will ensure supervisors and trades have everything they need, including materials, tools, drawings, access and information, to keep production moving.

Qualifications

• Strong organisation and attention to detail
• Time management and prioritisation
• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
• Effective communication with supervisors and trades
• Proficiency with planning tools, Primavera P6 preferred
• Defence Security Clearance eligibility

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain 2 to 6 week look ahead plans that align with the Integrated Master Schedule
• Break down production scope into clear, executable work packages for each trade and work area
• Sequence work to optimise trade flow, access and productivity while reducing rework
• Plan work packages to the right level of detail so supervisors and trades can execute efficiently
