Job summary

The Shire of Wyndham East Kimberley is seeking a dedicated Procurement and Contract Support Officer to join our Procurement Team in Kununurra. The role focuses on delivering compliant procurement and contract management support to align with organisational goals and governance.

Key duties include assisting with procurement and contract management processes, coordinating tenders and quotations, auditing contract management, and supporting the management of term contracts and supplier panels for

Qualifications

Business admin qualifications in procurement, business or commerce.
WA C class driver’s license (unrestricted) is essential.
Ability to comply with procurement and contract management requirements.

Responsibilities

Assisting with the delivery of efficient, effective and compliant procurement and contract management arrangements.
Assisting with developing, implementing and maintaining the Shire’s procurement and contract management framework.
Assisting with coordinating tender and quotation processes.
Assisting with auditing contract management for the organisation.
Assisting with managing and reviewing the procurement for the Shire’s term contracts and pre-qualified supplier panel arrangements for the supply of operational goods and services.
Participating in the development, implementation, monitoring and review of procurement policies and procedures and key performance indicators.
