Job summary

Icon Water in Canberra seeks a strategic Manager to lead procurement and contracts across the organisation. You will provide expert commercial leadership, oversee complex procurement activities and govern high-value contracts that support essential services to the ACT community.

You will drive procurement excellence, contract performance, and value-for-money outcomes, leading a professional team, partnering with senior leaders, and supporting major infrastructure programs and strategic sourcing

Qualifications

• Experience leading procurement and contract management in asset-intensive environments.
• Experience with governance, probity and commercial risk management.
• Experience managing major infrastructure, construction or professional services contracts.
• Experience developing procurement frameworks, policies and systems.
• Ability to provide commercially focused advice to senior leaders and stakeholders.
• Strong leadership experience and developing high-performing teams.
