Job summary

Sundale Ltd. is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead procurement, contracting and supplier governance from the Burnside area. You will drive strategy, negotiate major contracts and oversee supplier performance to deliver sustainable value.

You will mentor the Procurement and Contracting team and partner with executives to manage risk, drive process improvements and enable long-term service excellence for residents and communities.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business, Commerce or related discipline.
• Postgraduate qualification desirable.
• Professional accreditation or membership with a recognised procurement, commercial or contract management body desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead procurement strategy, annual procurement plan and governance frameworks.
• Lead category management, strategic sourcing, market engagement, tendering, evaluation, negotiation and contract award processes.
• Identify supplier consolidation, aggregation and strategic sourcing opportunities.
• Oversee significant contracts and strategic commercial negotiations.
• Establish effective contract lifecycle, supplier governance and performance management frameworks.
• Monitor supplier performance against contractual obligations and service levels.
• Provide expert procurement and commercial advice to executives and business leaders.
• Identify and manage procurement, contractual, supplier and commercial risks.
• Use expenditure analysis, market intelligence and commercial insights to support informed decision-making.
• Lead procurement transformation, process improvement, automation and system enhancement initiatives.
• Develop meaningful reporting frameworks, performance measures and governance dashboards.
• Lead, coach and develop the Procurement and Contracting team while promoting accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
