Job summary

Bundaberg Regional Council is seeking an experienced leader to join the Parks and Natural Areas Branch as Coordinator Strategic Planning & Business Systems. This role provides leadership across strategic planning, governance, asset planning and business systems to deliver integrated, data-informed services that benefit the Bundaberg Region.

You will coordinate consultants, guide capital works, and engage with internal and external stakeholders to shape our community outcomes.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership experience coordinating teams, resources and service delivery functions in a complex environment.
• Experience in strategic planning, business planning, governance and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of asset planning, capital works programs and investment prioritisation.
• Proven ability to build productive relationships, provide specialist advice and engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Tertiary qualifications relevant to strategic planning, landscape architecture, urban design, business management or related field, supported by industry experience.

• Coordinate consultants and provide expert advice on parks and open space, recreation facilities and natural areas.
