Job summary

Access Sydney Community Transport Ltd (Access Sydney) is seeking a Business Development Manager to identify, develop and secure new business and funding opportunities. You will work closely with the CEO and Leadership Team to grow sustainability and community impact.

Key duties include building partnerships with aged care, disability services, government bodies and funders, preparing proposals, and guiding the Marketing Officer to ensure alignment with priorities.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of developing new business across sectors.
• Experience in building collaborative relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Exceptional communication, listening, presenting and writing skills.
• Experience securing fundraising, sponsorship and grant funding.
• Experience identifying, developing and securing large value donations.
• Experience developing and managing grant applications to government and philanthropic organisations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a practical business development pipeline identifying opportunities and funding sources.
• Research and assess potential markets, sectors and organisations needing accessible transport and related services.
• Identify and progress opportunities with community organisations, aged care providers, Disability services, local government and funders.
• Prepare high-quality proposals, quotes, presentations and partnership documentation with CEO input.
• Build and maintain relationships with prospective and existing partners, customers and funders.
• Support development of business development targets, action plans and reporting.
• Directly supervise Marketing Officer to align marketing and communications with priorities.
• Analyse business insights and compile reports.
• Monitor the promotions budget.
• Attend internal meetings and prepare Board papers.
