Job summary

J.P. Morgan is seeking an Associate in Securities Services Operations in Sydney to help deliver transformation, stronger data practices, and disciplined governance across the function.

You will partner with local leadership and cross-functional teams to improve operational performance, increase transparency through reporting, and support data-driven decisions, while tracking initiatives and promoting better tools and routines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• At least 2 years of experience in financial services operations or a related role.
• Experience with data analysis and visualization using Tableau.
• Experience building analytics or automation workflows with Alteryx and/or Python.
• Experience supporting change delivery through process improvement, automation or governance.

Responsibilities

• Support the design and execution of transformation initiatives to improve processes and reduce manual effort.
• Analyze operational data to identify opportunities, cost reductions, and risks.
• Develop management reporting, dashboards, and performance measures.
• Contribute to automation and analytics using Alteryx, Tableau, and Python.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate needs into actionable delivery plans.
• Support governance routines including strategy tracking and roadmaps.
• Prepare clear communications for senior stakeholders on priorities and risks.
• Monitor data quality and support root-cause analysis.
• Promote continuous improvement and consistent operating rhythms.
