Job summary

Ausgrid, a leading electricity distributor, seeks a Network Portfolio Director to shape and deliver a disciplined, construction-ready portfolio aligned with approved plans, budget and governance. Reporting to the Head of Portfolio & Performance, you will drive strategic portfolio planning, performance and risk management to enable safe, efficient network outcomes.

You will influence how Ausgrid plans, optimises and delivers its network portfolio, collaborating with Asset Management, Network

Qualifications

Significant experience managing large, complex portfolios of programs and projects.
Proven ability to deliver asset-intensive infrastructure or capital works programs.
Deep understanding of governance, portfolio management and delivery fundamentals.
Experience leading multidisciplinary teams through competing priorities.

Responsibilities

Lead Ausgrid's Network Portfolio to align with priorities and investment objectives.
Maintain a disciplined pipeline across a broad portfolio for delivery readiness.
Drive performance across scope, budget, schedule, safety and quality.
Provide leadership to Program Directors, Project Directors and delivery teams.
Partner with Asset Management, Network Planning, Design, Field Delivery and Finance.
Enhance governance, risk management and decision-making across the portfolio.
Lead portfolio forecasting, commercial management and investment performance.
Oversee reporting, cost assurance and upstream decision support.
