Job summary

Australian Rail Track Corporation seeks an experienced Management Accountant to join the Finance team. You will deliver accurate management reporting, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis to support performance decisions and governance.

You will partner with stakeholders to monitor results, identify risks and opportunities, and ensure strong financial controls across project and works ledgers.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• CA/CPA qualification or working towards professional accreditation.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with Power BI reporting.
• Experience with reporting and financial systems.
• Postgraduate qualifications in Business, Finance or Financial Systems will be highly regarded.
• Experience in construction, project and infrastructure industry.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate management reporting, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
• Partner with stakeholders to monitor financial results and identify risks/opportunities.
• Maintain financial data integrity across general, project and works ledgers.
• Prepare monthly management reports with variance/trend analysis.
• Coordinate labour cost reporting and project labour allocations.
• Support grant, funding, regulatory and compliance reporting requirements.
• Collaborate across Finance teams to drive continuous improvement.
• Deliver ad hoc financial analysis and regulate reporting as needed.
