Job summary

Qualify, based in Echuca, is seeking a Management Accountant to provide accurate and timely financial information to support management decisions, budgeting, forecasting, and financial control.

You will prepare management reports, analyze performance, monitor budgets and assist operational managers to understand their financial position, with a focus on accuracy, data quality, and clear business insights.

Qualifications

• Experience in finance, accounting, management reporting, reconciliations, budgeting or financial administration.
• Experience with reconciliations including revenue reconciliations, GL reviews, accruals and month-end processes.
• Knowledge of accounting, payroll, reporting and business systems.
• Ability to adopt new systems and improve reporting through technology.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and receivable including invoicing, data entry, and bank reconciliations.
• Support month-end close processes including journals, accruals, prepayments, reconciliations and financial review.
• Review general ledger transactions for correct coding, classification and allocations.
• Assist with balance sheet reconciliations and investigations of outstanding items.
• Assist with annual budgets across departments, programs and units.
• Prepare monthly management accounts including P&L, balance sheet analysis and cash flow reporting.
