The City of Canada Bay Council is seeking an experienced and strategic senior leader to join the Community, Culture & Leisure directorate as Manager, Recreation Services.

This role leads a diverse recreation portfolio across multiple facilities, delivering health and wellbeing outcomes for the community and guiding the strategic direction, financial performance, and continuous improvement of recreation services.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor-level or higher qualification in a relevant field with leadership experience.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams across recreation, leisure, sport or similar services.
• Strong focus on customer outcomes and community wellbeing.

Aufgaben

• Provide strategic and operational leadership across Recreation Services portfolio.
• Lead a high-performing team of managers with a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Oversee operation of recreation centres, programs and services focusing on customer experience and outcomes.
• Manage budget, revenue, resources and identify new business opportunities.
• Drive service innovation and organisational change for sustainability.
• Ensure governance, risk, child safety, WHS and regulatory compliance across portfolio.
• Build partnerships with councils, community groups, sporting bodies and government agencies.
• Provide strategic and financial advice to Director and Council.
