Griffith University is seeking a Senior Manager, Indigenous Strategic Initiatives to lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of Indigenous priorities across the university. You will work closely with the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Indigenous) and senior stakeholders to drive major initiatives, advise strategically, and support the development of frameworks that advance Griffith's Indigenous vision.

Based at the Logan Campus with the possibility to work across multiple sites, this full-time

Qualifications

• Postgraduate degree in a relevant field and extensive experience or an equivalent mix of education and practice.
• Strong understanding of contemporary Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander peoples, cultures and communities, and ability to engage respectfully with Indigenous peoples.

Responsabilités

• Lead planning, coordination, and delivery of Indigenous strategic initiatives for Griffith University.
• Drive development and implementation of Indigenous strategic priorities and oversee the Indigenous Plan.
• Foster partnerships across the University and externally to advance Griffith's Indigenous identity and objectives.
• Oversee major projects (e.g., GUMURRII South Bank relocation) with governance and transition management.
• Coordinate refresh of the Indigenous Research Unit in collaboration with internal and external partners.
• Lead Indigenous recruitment, marketing, and communications initiatives with key stakeholders.
• Represent the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Indigenous) on committees and forums, providing strategic advice.
