Job summary

Hawkesbury City Council is seeking a qualified Town Planner to support the Strategic Land Use Team in Windsor, NSW. You will contribute to sustainable growth, development, and environmental management across the Hawkesbury Local Government Area.

The role requires a Town Planning degree, strong experience in land use strategy, and the ability to manage multiple complex projects with stakeholders. A comprehensive rewards package is offered including flexible work arrangements.

Qualifications

• Degree qualification in Town Planning, Urban Planning or related discipline recognized by appropriate planning bodies.
• Demonstrated experience in strategic land use planning and policy development.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support the Strategic Land Use Team within the Strategic Planning Branch.
• Assist in guiding sustainable growth, development and environmental management for the Hawkesbury LGA.
• Prepare reports for Council and Executive and manage complex planning projects with multiple stakeholders.
