Job summary

Australian Payments Plus is seeking an experienced Internal Communications Manager for a 6‑month max-term contract, with potential extension. You will lead communications and employee engagement for major change initiatives, including a migration to Teams and a physical office move.

You’ll partner with project teams, leaders and Design Studio to craft compelling stories, guidance and practical messaging that drive adoption and a human experience across AP+.

Qualifications

• 6+ years’ experience in internal communications, employee engagement or change communications, with exposure to large-scale organisational change.
• Familiarity with Teams Viva Engage.
• Ability to turn complex, technical or ambiguous content into simple, human messaging.
• Strong storytelling and content creation skills across campaigns, executive messaging and digital content.
• Understanding of how internal channels (Teams, intranets) work together and how to select the right channel for the audience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver communications for two key change initiatives within AP+ (Slack to Teams migration and Office move).
• Own internal communications plans and engagement for these changes, from awareness to adoption.
• Create clear messaging, content and campaigns across intranet, Teams, email, All Hands, events and other channels.
