Job summary

The Department of Families, Fairness and Housing seeks to enhance its ability to respond to child sexual and criminal exploitation. This role sits within the CERT and involves contributing to the delivery of the department's strategy, including leading and supporting multi‑disciplinary projects, data analysis and reporting, and providing strategic advice to the Director.

You will provide authoritative strategic guidance to senior managers across operational and policy areas based on intelligence

Qualifications

• Responsibilities require ability to interpret complex information and provide strategic advice.
• Experience in data analysis and reporting is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the implementation of the team’s Strategic Plan to enhance joint responses to child sexual exploitation which involves leading and supporting multi-disciplinary projects, data analysis and reporting, and providing strategic advice to the Director.
• Providing authoritative strategic advice to senior managers on intelligence gathering results, including trends and emerging issues.
• Reporting to the Manager Intelligence Capability, Child Exploitation (CE) Response team (CERT) as part of a small specialist group.
