Job summary

The Department of Families, Fairness and Housing in Victoria seeks a specialist to support its Child Exploitation (CE) Response team. The role delivers the department's strategy for responding to child sexual and criminal exploitation.

You will provide authoritative strategic advice, lead multi-disciplinary projects, data analysis and reporting, and work with senior managers to identify trends and emerging issues.

Qualifications

• Reporting to the Manager Intelligence Capability, Child Exploitation (CE) Response team (CERT), you will be part of a small specialist team responsible for the delivery of the Department's strategy for responding to child sexual and criminal exploitation (CCE).
• Assisting the implementation of the team's Strategic Plan to enhance joint responses to child sexual exploitation which involves leading and supporting multi-disciplinary projects, data analysis and reporting, and providing strategic advice to the Director.
• Providing authoritative strategic advice to senior managers on the results of intelligence gathering, including identification of trends and emerging issues.

Responsibilities

• Reporting to the Manager Intelligence Capability, CE Response team (CERT) and delivering the department's strategy for responding to CE.
• Leading and supporting multi-disciplinary projects, data analysis and reporting to improve responses to CCE.
• Providing strategic intelligence insights and identifying trends to inform policy and operational decisions.
