Job summary

Social Services Regulator seeks a Manager, Intelligence to lead the worker screening intelligence capability. You will direct the collection, analysis and dissemination of risk information at individual and population levels, overseeing a team of analysts and maintaining high analytical standards.

You will direct tasking, ensure focus on high‑risk matters, and govern referral decisions against thresholds, while ensuring privacy, security and information management compliance across intelligence

Qualifications

• Experience leading intelligence teams and setting analytical standards.
• Ability to direct tasking and prioritisation of intelligence work.
• Familiarity with privacy, information sharing and information management requirements.
• Working with Children Check required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the worker screening intelligence function and its tradecraft, within strategic direction.
• Direct tasking and prioritisation of all intelligence work to focus on high-risk matters.
• Oversee triage, grading and routing of information, and the quality of referral decisions against thresholds and urgency tiers.
• Lead the production of strategic, operational and tactical intelligence products for decision makers.
• Ensure intelligence holdings and decisions comply with security, privacy and information management requirements.
