Job summary

QIC is seeking an accomplished infrastructure executive to join our Global Infrastructure team as Partner – Infrastructure. This role offers the opportunity to work across government, investment and major infrastructure delivery, helping progress significant priorities across Queensland and Australia.

You will provide strategic, commercial and investment leadership across complex initiatives, focusing on development, financing and delivery, with a clear path to executable outcomes.

Qualifications

• 15+ years leading major greenfield infrastructure projects.
• Strong experience in infrastructure investment and asset management.
• Experience developing, financing and delivering major capital projects.
• Understanding of PPP/concession structures and regulatory frameworks.
• Experience leading owner’s teams with engineering oversight.
• Board or Non-Executive Director experience in infrastructure.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage government stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and progression of complex government infrastructure initiatives.
• Shape commercial, legal, investment and procurement frameworks.
• Provide strategic leadership across project development, approvals, procurement, construction and commissioning.
• Manage relationships with State and Federal Government, investors, contractors and advisers.
• Oversee financial evaluation, risk management and value optimisation.
• Collaborate with investment teams on structuring, financing, due diligence and transactions.
• Present recommendations to Investment Committees and Government stakeholders.
