QIC Limited in Brisbane is seeking a commercially minded tax professional for a 12-month contract. You will join the Brisbane Head Office, advise on domestic and international investments, and partner with Investment teams to drive commercially focused tax outcomes.

You'll bring experience from Big 4 or large financial services, with CA/CPA or postgraduate tax qualification, strong stakeholder engagement and the ability to simplify complex tax issues for senior leaders.

Qualifications

• Experience in Big 4 or large financial services/tax practice.
• Proven ability to advise on tax implications and structuring of domestic and international investments.
• Qualified with CA/CPA or relevant postgraduate tax qualification.

Responsabilités

• Partner directly with Investment teams on strategic tax decisions.
• Provide tax advice across Australian and international investments, including structuring and due diligence.
• Gain exposure to QIC’s investment products and structures.
• Collaborate with tax, investment, finance and external advisers.
• Translate complex tax issues into practical guidance for senior stakeholders.
• Support business units within the tax risk framework and governance processes.
• Contribute to tax risk, governance and compliance initiatives.
