Job summary

Infrastructure NSW seeks an Associate Director, Infrastructure Assurance in Sydney on a temporary full-time basis. You will apply the Infrastructure Investor Assurance Framework to provide assurance to project teams and establish monitoring and reporting to improve investment outcomes and confidence in delivery.

Key responsibilities include coordinating assurance reviews across Tier 1–3 projects, preparing reports for executive committees and Cabinet, developing strategies and procedures, and

Qualifications

• Relevant qualifications or equivalent experience in infrastructure planning, development, procurement, or delivery.
• Strong analytical and proactive problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with ability to prepare clear reports and impactful presentations.

Responsibilities

• Provide assurance to project teams using the IIIF framework and establish monitoring and reporting.
• Coordinate assurance review activities including tiers of projects and trends reporting.
• Develop strategies, programs, policies, and procedures to improve project outcomes.
• Manage special projects and prepare draft evaluation reports on business cases.
