Job summary

Transport for NSW is seeking a strategic Identity & Security leader to own the domain strategy, target-state architecture, and long-range roadmaps for identity, access, and security platforms across the organisation's digital estate.

You will govern identity governance, authentication, privileged access, and directory services, ensuring secure, compliant, and scalable outcomes while aligning with cyber and regulatory obligations.

Qualifications

• Depth of expertise across identity and access management (governance, authentication, privileged access) and modern security architecture.
• Strong grounding in cyber security frameworks and risk management.
• Experience governing vendors and managed service providers to architectural standards and investment cases.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Identity & Security domain, defining strategy, target-state architecture and multi-year roadmaps for identity, access and security platforms.
• Oversee identity governance and administration, authentication, access management, and directory services.
• Govern architectural standards, ensure secure-by-design, compliant and scalable solutions; manage external partners and investment cases.
