Job summary

icare is seeking a Platform Architect – Security to shape the cyber security architecture as NSW moves through a major technology transformation. You’ll translate strategy into practical controls across identity, data protection and vulnerability management.

You’ll influence future security roadmaps, partner with architects and delivery teams, and explore AI and automation to strengthen threat detection while keeping systems usable for customers and staff.

Qualifications

• Experience designing security architectures and roadmaps.
• Strong knowledge of security principles and controls.
• Ability to communicate complex issues across tech and business teams.

Responsibilities

• Shape cyber security architecture, vision and roadmap.
• Design solutions across IAM, privileged access, auth, vulnerability management.
• Strengthen data loss prevention and security controls.
• Explore AI and automation for threat detection and monitoring.
• Embed secure-by-design principles in new solutions.
• Partner with architects, delivery teams and external providers.
• Research and evaluate security technologies and risks.
• Represent cyber security in architecture discussions and governance.
