Job summary

BirdLife Australia is seeking a Senior Manager ICT in Melbourne to lead strategic ICT planning and day-to-day operations. You will guide technology investments, governance, and security while driving digital transformation to support the charity's conservation mission.

You will partner with executives to align technology with organisational goals, manage external partners, and build a resilient, service-driven ICT function across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Information Systems or a related discipline.
• Minimum five years' demonstrated experience in ICT leadership and management.
• Experience contributing to ICT strategy and technology roadmaps.
• Strong ICT governance, cybersecurity, information management and risk management knowledge.
• Experience managing CRM systems, digital and web technologies, business applications and document management systems.
• Ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on operational delivery in a constrained environment.
• Proven budget management, technology investment planning and vendor oversight.
• Leadership and people management capabilities with a service-focused culture.
• Outstanding communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
