Job summary

Sharp & Carter is seeking an experienced HR Operations & Recruitment Lead to support a diverse workforce across multiple locations. You will lead a small team delivering high-quality HR operations and recruitment services, ensuring compliant processes and exceptional employee experience throughout the lifecycle.

Reporting to the General Manager Human Resources, you will oversee onboarding, contracts, records management, workforce reporting, and talent acquisition, driving process improvements

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in HR Operations or Shared Services.
• Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation and IR frameworks.
• Experience managing high-volume recruitment functions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a HR Operations and Recruitment team.
• Oversee end-to-end recruitment and workforce planning.
• Drive continuous improvement across HR systems and processes.
• Ensure compliance and accurate employee records management.
• Manage employment contracts, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
• Provide workforce analytics and reporting for decision-making.
• Review and maintain people policies and procedures.
• Act as SME on HR operations, recruitment, and employment compliance.
• Partner with leaders to deliver efficient, customer-focused HR services.
• Support strategic people initiatives and workforce planning projects.
