Job summary

Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust seeks a strategic People partner to lead the People service within a defined area. You will advise on employee relations, NHS terms and conditions, and partner with OD to deliver workforce and people insights for Senior Leaders.

You will ensure professional service alignment with Trust values, drive policy reviews, and support workforce planning and reporting across divisions. Strong advisory and partnership skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience providing expert advice on employee relations matters.
• Knowledge of NHS terms and conditions of service preferred.
• Ability to develop and review People/OD policies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the People service provision for a defined area.
• Provide expert advice on employee relations issues and NHS terms.
• Ensure consistent professional service aligned with Trust values.
• Partner with OD to evaluate People/OD interventions and reports.
• Support workforce planning and senior leadership with workforce data.
