Qualifications

• Previous experience in an HR Advisor, People & Culture Advisor or similar generalist HR role.
• Sound knowledge of Australian employment legislation and industrial relations principles.
• Experience managing employee relations matters and providing advice to leaders.
• Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business or Psychology.
• Experience working within a multi-site or operational environment is highly regarded.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills and exposure to HRIS platforms.
• Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong communication and influencing abilities.
• Ability to balance operational priorities with strategic thinking.
• High levels of professionalism, integrity and confidentiality.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Resilient, adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborative approach with a strong customer service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and practical HR advice to managers and employees.
• Coordinate and manage key employee lifecycle activities.
• Assist leaders with workforce planning and organisational changes.
• Coach and support managers in the application of HR policies and procedures.
• Partner with recruitment teams to support talent acquisition and onboarding activities.
• Assist with performance review and talent management processes.
• Support workplace health, safety and wellbeing initiatives.
• Contribute to HR projects, policy reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with employment legislation, awards, enterprise agreements and company policies.
• Prepare HR reports and workforce insights to support decision‑making.
• Partner with operational and corporate stakeholders across a diverse national workforce.
• Support initiatives driving employee engagement, capability development and organisational performance.
