Job summary

Beyond Housing is seeking an experienced Strategic Project Manager to drive planning, development and delivery of social housing projects across the Seymour region. You will work with internal teams, local government and funding bodies to deliver projects from concept through to handover.

The role supports flexible working arrangements and requires effective management of budgets, timelines and risk while aligning with Beyond Housing's mission.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualifications in project management, strategic asset management, architecture or building and construction.
• Experience delivering both small and large scale housing projects.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder relationship skills.
• Strong time management and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Attention to detail and careful budgeting.
• Experience assessing risks and reporting on issues.
• Ability to interpret and apply relevant legislation.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new housing development opportunities.
• Manage land acquisition, feasibility and due diligence.
• Develop business cases, proposals and funding submissions.
• Coordinate planning and ensure alignment with funding requirements.
• Monitor budgets, risks and timelines; report on progress.
• Build and maintain relationships with government, funders and community.
• Support development of policies and procedures to minimise risk.
