Job summary

Silicon Quantum Computing in Sydney seeks a Procurement & Supply Chain Manager to own sourcing, negotiating contracts, purchasing controls and supplier performance across the business. Qualifications

• Experience in procurement and supply chain management.
• Strong negotiation and contracting skills.
• Familiarity with export controls and compliance.
• Experience sourcing capital equipment and services.
• Ability to translate technical requirements into commercial outcomes.
• Experience building scalable purchasing processes.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end procurement for capital equipment, specialised materials and services.
• Support negotiation of supplier contracts, pricing and service levels; maintain supplier framework and data.
• Oversee inventory and materials planning to support the roadmap and timelines.
• Manage supplier risk including due diligence, sole-source dependencies and contingencies.
• Apply export control, sanctions and dual-use screening to controlled goods with Legal/Compliance.
• Partner with Finance on budget control, capex/opex approvals and spend reporting.
• Deliver cost and efficiency improvements across the supply base and report savings and risk to management.
• Raise and manage purchase orders and requisitions through to approval.
• Coordinate inbound logistics, freight and customs, including incoterms and delivery scheduling.
• Expedite open orders and track lead times; resolve delays before production impact.
• Validate receipt of goods and services; run goods receipting and stock reconciliation.
• Match PO to invoices with AP and resolve pricing/quantity discrepancies.
