Job summary

Silicon Quantum Computing (SQC) is hiring a Technical Project Manager in Sydney to own end-to-end programme delivery across hardware, software and external partners. You will manage the critical path, schedule risks, and balance budgets while coordinating with government interfaces and customer timelines.

You will work across multiple teams, ensuring milestones are met, while maintaining clear communication with management, engineers, and executives.

Qualifications

• Track record delivering complex technical programmes against fixed milestones.
• Experience owning detailed delivery schedules across hardware and software workstreams.
• Background in hardware electronics, semiconductor, test engineering or manufacturing programme management.
• Structured risk management with early mitigation and clear reporting.
• Experience managing programme budgets and subcontractors with governance.
• Ability to communicate across engineers, management and executives.

Responsibilities

• Own the detailed delivery schedule across multiple workstreams, including hardware, software and partners.
• Build and maintain a credible critical path across teams and milestones.
• Run structured risk assessments and mitigation plans.
• Flag risks early and replan with clear consequences for blockers.
• Own government interface, IV&V relationships, and exit criteria alignment.
• Manage the programme budget and funding proposals, align spend with plan.
• Coordinate with QML customer interfaces and delivery timelines.
• Ensure adherence to defined processes and quality standards.
