Job summary

Synergy is seeking a Government Relations Principal to lead ministerial engagement, coordinate briefs, and support senior leaders with strategic government advice.

Based in Perth, you will work across government decision-making, manage stakeholder relationships, and help shape Western Australia's energy future in a fast-paced environment.

Applicants should have tertiary qualifications in communications or public affairs and a track record in government relations.

Qualifications

• Experience in government relations, public affairs, communications or similar field.
• Strong understanding of government processes and decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver government engagement and stakeholder plans.
• Build and maintain relationships with Ministers' offices and government agencies.
• Monitor political developments and provide strategic insights.
• Advise senior leaders on government-related matters and issues management.
• Support government approvals, submissions and initiatives.
