Job summary

Snowy Hydro is seeking an experienced Governance Manager to lead and embed governance frameworks across major infrastructure projects, including Snowy 2.0. The role focuses on compliance, risk assurance, and reporting to senior leadership.

Key responsibilities include developing governance structures, aligning risk activities, and coordinating with Legal, Finance, and Corporate Risk functions to integrate governance across operations. Relocation or FIFO may be considered.

Qualifications

• Proven governance leadership experience on major infrastructure or energy projects.
• Experience designing and implementing governance frameworks, policies and procedures.
• Strong ability to simplify regulatory and compliance requirements for senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design and operationalise governance structures and delegations of authority.
• Align risk and assurance activities with project risk outputs and audits.
• Deliver comprehensive performance reports to senior leadership and maintain centralised compliance registers.
• Engage workstream leads and cross-functional teams to embed governance into daily activities.
• Support regulatory submissions with timely and accurate information.
