Job summary

Samsung Electronics Australia is seeking an experienced Finance Analyst to support financial analysis, reporting and commercial insights across key marketing activities. You will work closely with Senior Analysts and Management in a fast-paced global environment.

You will use SAP, BI and Excel to deliver accurate financial reporting, support forecasting, month-end close and planning, and prepare reports for Senior Management, HQ and regional stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree with previous experience in finance or accounting
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with strong analytical capability
• Experience using ERP systems, ideally SAP
• Strong attention to detail, organisation and stakeholder management skills
• A proactive, analytical mindset with the ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, global environment

Responsibilities

• Analyse and report on marketing activities, sales performance and investment across daily, weekly and monthly cycles
• Prepare key management, P&L, investment and customer/product analysis reports
• Support forecasting, month-end close and annual planning, including cost allocation and trend analysis
• Use SAP, BI and Excel to deliver accurate and insightful financial reporting
• Prepare reporting and analysis for Senior Management, HQ and regional stakeholders
