Job summary

Platinum Pacific Partners seeks a Commercial Finance Analyst to join the Group Finance team in Sydney. You will help build out FP&A, modelling and management reporting while partnering with senior stakeholders.

The role offers exposure to budgeting, forecasting, capital planning and strategic initiatives across asset management and lending. You will develop dashboards, leverage data and AI-driven approaches to improve finance reporting and add real business impact.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of post-qualification FP&A/finance experience.
• Strong budgeting and forecasting capabilities.
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
• Experience with large datasets and BI tools, preferably Power BI.
• Ability to translate financial data into commercial insights.
• Excellent stakeholder management and business partnering.

Responsibilities

• Build and shape a new group-wide FP&A and commercial finance function.
• Collaborate with Head of Commercial Finance and CFO on budgeting, forecasting and strategy.
• Develop financial models and scenario analyses for capital allocation.
• Deliver performance, variance and cash flow analysis.
• Build dashboards and management reporting (Power BI).
• Partner with stakeholders across Finance, Treasury, Operations and Technology.
• Contribute to initiatives including funding, product expansion, M&A and distribution strategy.
• Leverage data and AI-driven approaches to improve reporting.
• Grow the role as the function develops.
