Job summary

1LM Finance Advisory in Canberra is seeking a Financial Reporting professional at Manager or Senior Manager level to deliver high quality work across client engagements. You will lead complex financial statements, monthly close cycles, and control improvements, with exposure to Commonwealth Government work.

Ideal candidates bring CA/CPA, 5–8+ years of experience, and a track record in external audit or mid‑tier firms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related field is required.
• CA/CPA designation typically obtained.
• Experience with financial statements and complex reporting.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication and client-relations abilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review complex financial statements and working papers.
• Lead monthly close cycles and internal control processes.
• Provide expert accounting guidance on standards and taxation matters.
• Collaborate with clients to implement efficient accounting controls.
• Engage with executives, audit committees and external auditors.
• Mentor junior team members.
