Job summary

Agrifutures in Perth's eastern suburbs is seeking a confident Financial Controller to join the team on a 3‑month contract with a view to permanency. You will lead month‑end processes for the group, manage intercompany accounts and fixed assets, and drive governance with strong financial reporting. Fully CA/CPA qualified, with 7+ years in a senior accounting role, manufacturing/mining experience preferred, and ERP proficiency.

Qualifications

• 7+ years' experience in a financial or leadership accounting role.
• Strong knowledge of month-end processes and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Exposure to external audits and group reporting structures.
• Manufacturing, wholesale or mining industry experience preferred.
• Fully CA/CPA qualified.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end processes and project profitability analysis.
• Ensure financial reporting complies with AASB/IFRS and taxation standards.
• Prepare and publish weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports.
• Utilise and implement ERP systems for financial operations.
• Maintain controls to ensure data accuracy and prevent fraud.
• Collaborate with GM and operational leaders to support decisions.
• Deliver ad hoc analysis and executive presentations.
• Support strategic initiatives and continuous improvement.
• Contribute to a high-performance, values-driven team culture.
