ASC Pty Ltd is Australia’s submarine company, delivering life-cycle support for Collins Class submarines and selected for nuclear-powered submarine sustainment. This role provides financial administration across projects in Defence to support governance and workforce development.
You will coordinate budgets, analyse variances, report insights, and build strong stakeholder relationships to enable informed decision-making and project planning.
ASC is Australia’s submarine company. We built the Royal Australian Navy’s Collins Class submarines, sustain them, and are now delivering their Life of Type Extension to increase the boats’ service lives. You bring experience in financial administration, budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting, with the ability to interpret data and provide meaningful insights that support informed decision-making. You are comfortable working across multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining robust financial controls while ensuring compliance with governance and reporting requirements.
A proactive and collaborative team member, you build strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders and can confidently liaise with managers, project teams, subject matter experts, and finance professionals. Your strong communication skills enable you to present financial information clearly and contribute positively to project planning, monitoring, and review activities.
This role is well suited to professionals with experience in finance administration, accounts payable, procurement, project financial support, or broader finance coordination roles who are looking to apply their skills in a project-focused environment.
This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance to a NV1 level. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
