Job summary

CommBank is seeking a Senior Manager Finance Business Partnering within Global Technology Services. This role provides strategic financial leadership to the Core Platforms and Infrastructure portfolio, partnering with Technology and Finance leaders to shape commercial decisions and drive performance.

You will lead planning, forecasting, reporting and financial governance, translating complex data into clear insights for executive decision makers.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in senior finance business partnering within a large, complex organisation.
• CA or CPA qualification.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders with clear, evidence-based challenge and advice.
• Advanced analytical and financial modelling skills.
• Experience budgeting, forecasting, reporting and strategic decision support.
• Understanding of financial control and balance sheet management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lead multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Continuous improvement mindset and capability building.

Responsibilities

• Build trusted relationships with Executive Managers, General Managers and senior stakeholders.
• Lead budgeting, rolling forecasts and long-range financial planning.
• Own monthly management reporting and executive commentary.
• Translate data into insights, options and recommendations for senior leaders.
• Lead financial modelling and commercial assessment of plans and investments.
• Provide constructive challenge on cost, value, risks and delivery outcomes.
• Oversee contract reviews, accounting treatment, financial control and balance sheet ownership.
• Identify process, reporting and control improvements to increase efficiency.
• Coordinate priorities across Finance and Technology teams to uplift capability.
