Job summary

BlueScope Building Components QLD & NT in Archerfield, QLD, seeks a Senior Finance Business Partner to lead commercial insight, drive performance and shape investment decisions within the National Commercial Leadership Team and the QLD & NT State Leadership Team. You will partner with senior leaders to provide trusted guidance and performance advice to support sustainable growth.

Qualifications

Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related discipline.
Extensive finance and commercial experience in a complex business.
Ability to interpret performance beyond financial data.
Proven ability to influence strategy and business decisions.
Strong communication of complex financial information to varied stakeholders.
Capable of navigating ambiguity and competing priorities.
Proactive engagement with internal customers to understand their business needs.

Responsibilities

Maximise commercial performance by developing strategies to enhance EBIT and optimise the balance sheet.
Provide meaningful commercial insight, identifying drivers of performance and offering clear analysis.
Shape strategy and business decisions with end-to-end planning and investment considerations.
Strengthen governance and ensure robust financial controls and risk management.
Collaborate across sales, operations, finance and other functions to understand the end-to-end business.
Deliver business improvement by prioritising initiatives aligned with objectives.
Champion change and adopt new technologies to improve ways of working.
Translate insight into action by linking financial data to strategic outcomes.
