Job summary

Fujitsu Limited in Sydney is seeking a seasoned Finance Business Partner to deliver commercially focused financial insight across a matrix environment. You will work with Defence/Commercial Enterprise stakeholders to translate data into actions, strengthen forecasting, and improve revenue, margin, cost and cash performance.

This role blends strong finance technical capability with proactive business partnering, requiring independent work and effective communication with senior leaders.

Qualifications

• Professional accounting qualification (CA/CPA/CIMA/ACCA) and related degree.
• At least five years of post-qualification experience in finance partnering, FP&A, or commercial finance.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, modelling and management reporting.
• Experience in a services-based organisation, ideally tech/IT services or project-led environments.
• Advanced Excel and experience with enterprise finance, planning or BI systems.

Responsibilities

• Act as trusted finance partner, provide evidence-based advice and challenge.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and outlook activities for assigned areas.
• Analyse revenue, margin, costs, utilisation, cash and working capital; recommend actions.
• Support initiatives via financial modelling and scenario analysis.
• Monitor performance against budgets; investigate variances and drive corrective actions.
• Lead month-end and year-end close, including accruals and reconciliations.
• Maintain balance sheet governance and accounting controls.
• Collaborate across Finance, Sales, Operations and Delivery for commercial outcomes.
• Identify opportunities to improve finance processes and reporting.
• Support team capability through coaching and knowledge sharing.
