University of the Sunshine Coast invites applications for a Finance Business Partner within the Financial Services team on the Sunshine Coast. This full‑time, fixed‑term position reports to the Senior Finance Business Partner and supports planning, performance and compliance across the University.

You will deliver budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling and reporting, including executive and Council outputs, and provide trusted advice to senior leaders and operational teams.

Qualifications

• High-level financial reporting experience, preferably within a higher education environment.
• Experience managing externally funded grants and projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced Excel and experience with enterprise finance systems.
• Ability to translate financial information for non-financial audiences.
• Strong relationship management and collaborative approach.
• Experience with higher education sector.

Responsibilities

• Partner with client groups to provide clear, timely financial advice that supports planning, performance and decision‑making.
• Deliver budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling and reporting, including executive‑ and Council‑level outputs.
• Support financial management and compliance of externally funded grants, agreements and projects.
• Improve financial systems, processes and reporting capability through continuous improvement and collaboration.
