Job summary
UniSC’s Financial Services team is seeking a Finance Business Partner to influence decision-making across the University. You will report to the Senior Finance Business Partner and collaborate with senior leaders to support planning, performance and compliance.
You will deliver budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling and reporting, including executive-level outputs, and support external grants and projects while driving continuous improvement in financial systems.
Qualifications
- Experience preparing and analysing high-level financial reports, ideally in a higher education or complex environment.
- Experience supporting financial management of projects and externally funded grants.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to improve financial processes.
- Advanced Excel skills and enterprise finance systems.
Responsibilities
- Provide budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling and reporting, including executive- and Council-level outputs.
- Partner with client groups to deliver timely financial advice and support planning and decision-making.
- Support financial management and compliance of externally funded grants, agreements and projects.
- Improve financial systems and reporting capability through continuous improvement.
