Job summary

RSM Australia is seeking a Financial Controller on a parental leave cover basis to oversee Group Finance operations, including treasury, FP&A, and external reporting. Reporting to the Director of Group Finance, you will lead the accounting and FP&A teams and partner with senior leaders to translate financial insights into strategic initiatives.

The role requires CA or equivalent and 3+ years in a senior finance position, with hands-on experience in Workday and Adaptive Planning, plus knowledge

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a senior role leading finance teams.
• High level communication skills both written and verbal.
• Experience with Workday / Adaptive Planning.
• Experience with the taxation of trusts and trust accounting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day finance operations, including treasury, FP&A, accounts payable, accounts receivable and financial accounting.
• Lead the annual budgeting process, delivering robust financial plans and insights to the Executive Board.
• Ensure accurate and timely external reporting and regulatory obligations, including taxation and bank covenant reporting.
• Design, implement and maintain robust internal controls across key financial processes.
• Oversee the Workday ERP Finance module lead and drive process improvements.
