Hancock Energy is looking for an Environment Manager to lead environmental strategies and ensure compliance with Australian regulations for onshore Oil and Gas projects in Western Australia. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in environmental management, and a Bachelor's degree in a related field

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in environmental management within energy or resources sectors.
  • Demonstrated relationship experience with stakeholders and government entities.
  • Strong knowledge of environmental legislation and regulatory frameworks.
  • Experience with ISO 14001 EMS implementation.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage the environmental strategy for project compliance.
  • Liaise with government and regulatory agencies on environmental matters.
  • Lead reporting on environmental and planning regulations.
  • Support environmental planning for new projects.
