Job summary

Queensland Fire Department is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to lead the development and governance of the organisation's architectural blueprints and roadmaps. The role will drive digital transformation initiatives, provide expert advice on information systems, and shape enterprise design artefacts to align with business strategy.

Qualifications

Significant experience as an Enterprise Architect in large, complex organisations.
TOGAF certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
Experience leading assessment of future strategic and technology directions.
Experience as ICT architect in solution or technical architecture.
Experience developing roadmaps matching organisational capabilities to technical solutions.
Knowledge of waterfall and agile project methodologies.

Responsibilities

Lead the development and review of architectural blueprints, roadmaps, standards and direction.
Conduct feasibility studies and options analysis to support digital transformation.
Provide input on enterprise design artefacts and implementation of enterprise architecture.
Develop and maintain networks between internal teams, projects and stakeholders to support EA.
Manage projects and represent the department at working groups to monitor outcomes for continuous improvement.
Ensure work aligns with enterprise architecture processes and document standards.
Lead and manage team functions with HR and financial management practices.
