Clayton Utz in Sydney is seeking a talented Lawyer to join our leading Workplace Relations, Employment & Safety (WRES) team, working closely with Partner Amanda Lyras. You will handle complex employment matters, provide strategic advice, and collaborate across private and public sectors.

The role offers opportunities for structured progression, mentorship, and participation in client secondments, seminars, and thought leadership to broaden your influence in the market.

Formación

• At least 2 years PQE in employment law and workplace relations within a reputable commercial law firm.
• Strong academic record.
• The drive and confidence to effectively manage a diverse workload with autonomy, while being a collaborative and generous team member.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• A genuine enthusiasm for employment law and willingness to contribute to business development.

Responsabilidades

• Advise on strategic and sensitive employment matters, employee disputes across various Courts and Tribunals (both private and public sector).
• Assist with whistleblowing, workplace investigations, discrimination and harassment issues.
• Contribute to post-employment restraints, employment aspects of corporate transactions, WHS and modern slavery matters.
• Support business development and build client relationships through networking events, seminars, publishing thought leadership, and enhancing the firm's profile in the market.
